We then bring the vendors to one location for live vendor presentations and negotiations.
MedAssets helps assess the total cost of ownership—taking into account extended warranties, payment terms and service coverage—for consideration as the live vendor presentations and negotiations take place. In the end, customers select the manufacturer, and MedAssets executes the contract to ensure the protection essential for the purchase.. The result: Live Group Buy participants have up to one year to buy the equipment at the superior value achieved through client commitment and participation.
Quarterly Group Buy For the quarterly group buy, MedAssets identifies diagnostic imaging modality purchasing trends through customer input and aggregates spend into a single quarterly sourcing event. Bulk Buys Bulk Buys is a purchasing program that aggregates a large quantity of medical device equipment into a single sourcing event. Participating facilities achieve savings on upfront purchase price, maintenance/service costs and total cost of acquisition. Aggregated volume combined with our negotiation expertise helps customers achieve an average of 5 percent savings. |
