At MedAssets, we value our supplier relationships and strive to make registration as simple as possible for you. You can sign up today to become a registered MedAssets supplier. Please carefully read the process below, so you will know what to expect.

Completing the form does not mean eligibility to solicit our clients and does not guarantee a contract. You must provide all of the required documentation before the due date indicated on the bid categories to be included in the RFP distribution. We are currently updating our bid calendar.
MedAssets offers a competitive bid/RFP process about six to nine calendar months prior to the expiration of current contracts in that category. MedAssets national customer advisory committees may, at their discretion, periodically decide to extend a particular contract category for a period of time. New categories added at the request of our customer advisory committees are typically addressed within 12 months.

Second, our contracting staff will consult the database to determine which suppliers want to participate for a specific product or service. We exclude suppliers listed on the excluded supplier lists of the Office of Inspector General or General Service Administration.

For some categories, our customer advisory committees will determine which suppliers will win the business. The following factors typically play into that decision:
- Potential to decrease purchase costs for the category
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and field support for MedAssets’ customers
- Capability to provide products that meet the specifications of the customer advisory committee—for example, size, durability and a full line of replacement parts
- Ability to produce a safe product
- Capability to provide an environmentally-friendly product
- Sound financial condition—for example, recent financial reporting and favorable financial rating from an independent third party
Each RFP issued to interested suppliers contains a list of key requirements that MedAssets’ customer committees have created for the specific category. If you have any questions about these requirements, contact us.
Fourth, MedAssets will contact you only if your company receives customer advisory committee endorsement.
